10 Best campsites for culture(travel)

 

Taking a break once in a while is quite healthy. Especially if it involves going nature. Check the following list of best cultural campsite destination;

1.Port Eliot at Cornwall. Enjoy musical bash festival consisting of the wooded domain at the Rame peninsula southeast Cornwall. Has over 6000 acres just for camping. Either use a caravan or tent. There is a choice of tipis, pre-pitched tents, yurts fully furnished and vans airstream. Lovely liberty- print curtains that are installed in caravans to add the traditional Gypsy bow-top and the bell tents.

2.Greenman festival at Crickhowell, Powys

The beautiful countryside of Brecon Beacons. Turning up four days earlier is allowed to view this site. The festival has 10,000 people who are out-there sound fans. The festival turns nine this year and offers the lyrical magicians fleet foxes based in Seattle. The End up bar will have night musing over pints of bitter and bonfires. At the Glanusk estate are woods, bubbling streams, and grass rambling expanse. An Amphitheatre that’s natural is the main stage. Camping areas have the General, disabled, family groups.

3.Wood festival at the Braziers Park, Oxfordshire

Held at a residential college of the community also the country house Grade II listed. Disco is bicycle powered, stage solar-powered, composting toilets and stoves burning with wood for hot showers. Music is by Eliza corthy and willy mason band.

4.End of Road festival at Larmer Tree Garden’s, Dorset

Known for peacocks and macaws. Playing this year in Beirut, mystery jets, marlig, Laura, the mega faun, Bo Ningen the fall. Play the piano in the healing field.

5.Holme valley camping and caravan park at the West Yorkshire

Features include; fearsome totem pole bird headed, drummer boy hare and deconstructed columns. Bowels of the earth and a mining museum for national cool.

6.Rockness near Inverness, Highland

The Loch Ness banks have a backdrop that’s breathtaking. Alongside is the pebbled loch beach with a murky mysterious depth. Performance by Paolo Nutini, chemical brothers, and Kasabian. The cribs, Glasregas and Shadow DJ in attendance. Campsite woven entertainment by Rob da Bank’s additions.

7.Lovelane Caravans at the St Keverne, Cornwall.

Tate gallery, lovelane, and art gallery Newlyn located in Penzance. The sea cliff has a theatre near Porthcurno. In place is 3 English caravan; the old colonial tent, shepherd’s hut, and two hippy buses. Treasure troves of the subtropical botanical are Glendurgan gardens and trebah.

8.Calgary Bay Isle of Mull

Iona Abbey, craignure hall, salen church, Glengorm, and Duart castles are musical locations. Works from rhapsodiac, Brahms, Schubert and Schumann are performed by musicians. Wild camping sites at the Isle of mull or the Calgary bay. Unmissable day trip at the Scottish heritage island of Iona. Torosay castle is another site.

9.Gwerniago farm at Aberdyfi, Powys

Kyle Eastwood jazz bassist, strong quartet Szymanowski, Robin Huw Bowen welsh triple harpist at the festival. Ospreys and Red kites on the skies.   1. Camp Bestival Lulworth Castle Dorset

Music play early in the morning by Katy B, Laura Marling, and Blondie. Primal is this year’s Sunday stars. Author readings from drinking holes, comedy acts, English National Ballet, eateries and how-to workshop.
